Job Description
Overview
St. Lukes HealthBrazosport Hospital is located on a beautiful 25-acre campus in Lake Jackson Texas. Offering state-of-the-art diagnostic and comprehensive treatment services our hospital is home to a 154-bed patient tower level III trauma center advanced cardiac care center and full-service multidisciplinary cancer center. Responsibilities
We are looking for a responsible and compassionate Registered Nurse with top-notch clinical skills a caring attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision to join our ICU Team!
Responsibilities for this role as an RN in the ICU include:
- Monitoring patients conditions and assessing their needs
- Collaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
- Administering patients medications and providing treatments according to physicians orders
- Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in the state of Texas
- One year of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within 6 months of hire
- NIHSS is required within 3 months of hire
- TNCC is required within 1 year of hire
