TASQ is currently seeking an accounting staff member to join our team onsite in Pasig with an immediate start date. The initial pre-screening interview will be conducted via phone so please ensure your phone line is accessible.
**Position:** Accounting Staff (Pasig)
**Work Setup:** On-site in Pasig
**Work Hours:** 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday) and 8:00 AM 3:00 PM (two Saturdays each month)
Applicants must be able to start working in 2 weeks or less.
**Main Responsibilities:**
1. **Bank Reconciliation & Financial Transactions**
- Perform bank reconciliations for multiple company accounts
- Record daily bank debits related to duties and taxes
- Process local check payments to suppliers and ensure all documentation is complete
2. **Bookkeeping & Journal Entries**
- Prepare journal vouchers and accurately record financial transactions
- Maintain and update accounting ledgers and records
- Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and relevant financial regulations
3. **Cash Disbursement & Receipt Management**
- Record daily cash disbursements and receipts in the accounting system
- Monitor and verify the accuracy of cash flow transactions
- Assist in petty cash management and related disbursement activities
**Qualifications & Requirements:**
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy Business Administration (major in Finance or Accounting Management)
- 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Fresh graduates are welcome especially those with OJT experience in accounting functions
