Job Description

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Law Business Administration Engineering or a related field.

  • Advanced qualifications such as a Masters degree or professional certifications in contract management (e.g. IACCM/NCMA) are preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management with at least 5 years in large-scale industrial projects such as oil & gas construction or infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in managing complex contracts particularly EPC EPCM and FEED contracts.

  • Strong background in drafting negotiating and administering contracts through their full lifecycle.

  • Familiarity with international contracting standards and practices is an advantage.

Languages

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.

  • Mandarin or Russian language skills are highly desirable.

Skills / Attributes / Competencies

  • Strong understanding of contract law and risk management principles.

  • Excellent negotiation drafting and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with legal procurement engineering and project management teams.

  • High attention to detail with a commitment to compliance and governance.

  • Proactive solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage pressure and competing priorities.

Responsibilities and Other Skills

Contract Management and Administration

  • Manage the pre-award and post-award processes for service agreements construction contracts consultancy engagements and supplier POs.
  • Support review and interpretation of the Prime Contract ensuring all obligations are clearly mapped to subcontracts and internal processes.

  • Track contract execution status prepare risk assessments and update stakeholders regularly.

Contract Drafting and Negotiation

  • Draft and negotiate POs and contractual amendments ensuring compliance with client obligations and internal policies.
  • Coordinate and consolidate input from legal technical commercial and finance functions during contract development.

Invoice and Change Management

  • Ensure timely review and approval of contractor invoices.

  • Manage contract variations ensuring formal documentation evaluation and agreement of all changes.

Reporting and Governance

  • Maintain comprehensive records and generate regular reports on contract performance and risk exposure.

  • Ensure alignment with project controls procurement strategy and client requirements.

Claims and Dispute Management

  • Handle claims and disputes in coordination with legal teams including assessment negotiation and documentation.

Project Closeout and Compliance

  • Lead contract closeout activities and ensure proper documentation and compliance for audit purposes.

  • Ensure all project contracting activities are conducted in accordance with company standards and legal obligations.

Team Collaboration and Support

  • Support internal teams with contract-related guidance and issue resolution.

  • Participate in meetings with clients and subcontractors on contract execution matters.
