Job Description

Salisbury Elementary School is seeking a third grade classroom teacher. We are seeking a team member who has a passion for teaching all students possesses strong classroom management skills communicates with the team to plan instruction is dedicated to collaboration and has exceptional organizational successful candidate will:1. Provide a rich learning environment and advocate for students.2. Have a philosophy that all students can learn and support this in the classroom.3. Differentiate instruction for students to meet their educational behavioral and social-emotional needs.4. Support students who have IEPs and 504s.5. Maintain consistent communication with families through emails phone calls conferences and progress reports/report cards.6. Share information and provide assistance and consultation to students and parents.7. Be proficient in technology use especially with Google Classroom and Google Suite. 8. Have strong collaboration skills. 9. Understand child development and how to support students with specific needs not on IEPs or 504s.
