Position Overview:
The Office Receptionist plays a crucial role in front office management providing human resources support and assisting with food service administration. The is a 12 month position with a fully paid health insurance plan 14 days of paid leave and 10 days of vacation.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reception and Front Office Management:
- Answering and directing phone calls to appropriate staff members.
- Greeting and assisting visitors parents students and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Cross Training for Payroll and Benefits.
- Duties as assigned by Superintendent.
- Human Resources Support:
- Assisting with the maintenance and updating of personnel files ensuring all employee records are current and complete.
- Collecting organizing and processing application materials including tax information direct deposit forms fingerprints and background check documentation.
- Providing employees with updated information on salary schedules insurance benefits and other HR-related matters.
- Food Service Administration:
- Assuming the role of Director of Food Service coordinating closely with the Head Cook and food service staff.
- Assisting with federal requirements including the management of Free and Reduced Meal Applications and ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Helping to prepare and submit necessary reports related to the food service program.
