Ensures the filling activity - Hydrogen: Starts and stops the hydrogen filling station moves or has moved the trailers supervises the unloading of the liquid hydrogen truck prepares the filling of the trailers with hydrogen starts and stops the hydrogen installation brings or has brought the trailers to the filling stations calculates the volume to be filled checks the installation for leaks checks the good condition and operation of the hydrogen installation tops up the pumps with oil etc. visually and audibly monitors equipment prepares and fills trailers checks test date and general condition connects hose purges and fills trailer according to residual gas stops filling records pressure and checks for leaks periodically checks and calibrates H2 sector analyzers nitrogen purges trailers for repair and hydrogen purges trailers for return to service.
2. Performs the packaging activity - Acetylene: Connects cylinders to the manifold opens their taps and manifold valves regulates water flow checks filling pressures and temperatures checks for leaks stops filling closes taps and manifold valves changes manifold packs new acetylene cylinders and fills propylene cylinders when necessary handles cylinders removes or refills caps loads and unloads trailers uses forklift truck depalletizes empty cylinders and palletizes full cylinders.
3. Ensures administrative follow-up: Communicates with Distribution on priorities prepares filling reports and shipping documents notifies Distribution of full trailers and liquid hydrogen requirements.
4. Ensures preventive maintenance: updates the hydrogen sector preventive maintenance system carries out hydrogen sector preventive maintenance.
5. Ensures maintenance: Maintains inventory and orders parts for H2 sector maintenance.
6. Quality / safety : Carries out the required quality analyses for hydrogen gas observes safety rules follows plant quality procedures has the authority to stop any filling if purity is non-conforming or for any cause that may affect quality is responsible and has the authority to initiate any action to prevent the occurrence of a non-conformity is responsible for and has the authority to record in writing any event affecting quality and to notify the manager or his representative in the area where his intervention is required he is called upon to participate in any team recommendations for solutions to any problem concerning quality in any team verification for the implementation of solutions and in the control to continue operations relating to non-conforming products until correction.
7. Training: Train other operators on hydrogen.

Handling tools equipment and materials : Equipment for producing acetylene or receiving this gas in line such as BP generator forklift calcium carbide bag handling hoist gasometer lime pump regulator compressor HP dryer conditioning ramp filling ramp safety control panel cylinders acetone tank diesel Propylene acetone pump Propylene pump Propylene bottle nitrogen tank scale acetylene detector electric meter gas meter liquid hydrogen tank and pump vaporizer hydrogen filling station electrical equipment analyzer analysis tube pressure gauge hand tools natural gas furnace label shipping documents etc. Calcium carbide acetylene acetone calcium chloride compressed and liquid nitrogen liquid and gaseous hydrogen diesel propylene compressed air certified mixed cylinders.
9. MISCELLANEOUS: Prepares empty cylinders for inspection or filling visual inspection against defect labels weighs sorts customer-owned cylinders acetones as required replaces self-adhesive labels weighs full cylinders writes corresponding volume on sticker checks pressure and absence of leaks at cylinder and valve paints cylinders as required participates in periodic plant maintenance desensitization oil level lubrication generator cleaning HP dryer cleaning and filling sprinkler cleaning return to production etc. calibrates analyzer calibrates and repairs leak detectors calibrates scales may make minor repairs and assist maintenance mechanic or blowout preventer in repairs keeps tools and equipment in good condition keeps plant clean tidy and puts away tools after use observes and enforces safety rules completes daily or other report when required may perform other tasks as requested participates in loading and unloading handles cylinders.

FLEXIBILITY: 12-hour day 3 to 4 days a week day or night including weekends potentially. The schedule is subject to change depending on the needs of the operation.
