- Graduation from a recognized University Community College or technical institution with a degree diploma or certificate in web applications web design web writing operations management or related discipline.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in related field.
- Working knowledge of the Internet Social Media and HTML programming.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- The ability to maintain excellent working relationships and deliver a high standard of services.
- Must be able to work both independently with minimal supervision and as an integral part of a team.

The Edmonton Police Service has a temporary four (4) month position for a Website Content Writer able to work in a fast-paced environment as part of the Corporate Communications team. Working closely with the Digital Media Supervisor to coordinate sentiment analysis for the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) for its social media platforms responsibilities of this position will include:
- Working with the social media team to create and implement a sentiment analysis tool.
- Managing/reviewing user comments on EPS social media platforms.
- Assisting in analyzing and reporting on social media platforms.
- Assisting in developing new tools for the social media team.
