Job Description
Youll be part of Westpacs Financial Markets team managing and pricing interest rate risk for business loans and financial markets deposit products. Youll structure and execute hedging solutionsthink swaps caps collarsand develop innovative deposit offerings like tailored green and social term deposits.
Partnering closely with financial markets sales teams youll craft customer-focused solutions that drive success for Corporate Business and Private Bank clients. Based in Sydney full-timeyoull work at the heart of financial markets blending strategy execution and innovation to make a real impact.
- A passion for financial markets You thrive in the dynamic world of finance staying ahead of trends risks and opportunities to deliver the best solutions. Prior experience with interest rate pricing would be advantageous.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills Youre a natural when it comes to crunching numbers spotting patterns and breaking down complex financial problems with precision.
- Meticulous attention to detail From pricing models to risk assessments you have a razor-sharp eye for accuracy and never let the small details slip through the cracks.
- Advanced technical skills Youre proficient in Excel and comfortable working with financial models. If you have experience with PowerBI VBA or SQL even betteryou know how to automate processes interpret large datasets and generate insights that matter.
