The Boeing Company is looking for a Fire Lieutenant (B-Shift) to join the team in Mesa AZ.

The ideal candidate will be able to work within a complex and fast paced environment providing technical support for Fire Protection Systems. This individual must have strong project management communication and organizational skills.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads as Incident Commander and completes firefighting and emergency response activities within established protocols and standard procedures

• Develops incident response protocols and guidelines to determine and implement appropriate emergency response course of action

• Oversees or leads emergency calls for assistance to mitigate hazardous situations by operating specialized tools equipment and apparatus dependent on emergency type

• Oversees inspection of fire protection equipment or systems to ensure operational readiness and compliance with applicable standards and company procedures

• Audits completion of tasks assigned to ensure completion relative to established protocols standard procedures and proper documentation

• Designs conducts and completes training in the development of advanced skills

• Designs delivers and schedules external customer emergency preparedness and safety skills training curriculum to meet regulatory standards and contractual requirements

• Partners with other organizations (internal and external) to establish inspection and test procedures

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Current National Registry or Arizona State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification

• Current CPR certification

• Current valid drivers license

• State IFSAC or Proboard Firefighter 1 certification

• State IFSAC or Proboard Firefighter 2 certification

• Ability to pass and maintain a Firefighter physical/stress test

• Willing to work variable shifts including days nights weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Current Airport Rescue Firefighter (ARFF)

• Experience with Incident Command (IC) or National Incident Management System (NIMS)

• Experience as a team leader
