Position Summary
The Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at Gannon University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach courses in Environmental Sustainability and Environmental Toxicology (online) . We are seeking qualified individuals with relevant academic and/or professional experience. Applicants may be considered for either or both courses depending on qualifications and availability. Teaching assignments are for the upcoming academic term and may be renewed based on department needs and performance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to meet the physical demands associated with a normal academic environment. WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in a normal classroom and office setting.
Required Qualifications
Candidates interested in leading graduate courses must have an earned Doctorate in Environmental Science Environmental Engineering Toxicology Public Health or a related discipline. Candidates interested in undergraduate courses must have at least a Masters degree in a relevant discipline along with teaching or professional experience in the subject area. Strong communication and organizational skills. Commitment to inclusive student-centered teaching practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching or developing content in an online learning environment. Familiarity with online learning platforms (Blackboard). Background in environmental toxicology chemical risk assessment or public health. Experience with sustainability-focused instruction including Life Cycle Assessment ( LCA ) renewable energy systems and environmental policy. Professional experience or academic background in environmental consulting engineering or sustainability planning.
