Job Description

JOB TITLE: National Distribution Sales Manager

Exempt: Yes

Reports to: VP of Marketing and Sales

Full time role/Remote or Hybrid in Utah

Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven and experienced Distribution Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales through distribution partners. This role is responsible for managing relationships with existing distributors onboarding new partners and driving performance to exceed revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have strong B2B sales experience deep understanding of channel dynamics and a proven ability to influence distributor success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase revenue through distribution partners.
  • Distributor Management: Manage and support a network of US and Canadian distributors; provide training tools and support to ensure success.
  • Performance Tracking: Set goals and KPIs for distributors; monitor performance and take corrective action as needed.
  • Territory Development: Identify growth opportunities in underperforming or untapped regions and support expansion efforts.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing product development operations and support to align distributor needs with company initiatives.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and forecasts to sales leadership
  • Training & Enablement: Ensure partners are equipped with the latest product knowledge sales materials and market insights.
  • Market Feedback: Act as the voice of the distributor gathering insights to help guide product development pricing strategies and market positioning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of sales experience in the dental industry including national or regional distributor management
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share through channel partners
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. dental distribution landscape including key players (e.g. Patterson Henry Schein Benco and regional dealers)
  • Exceptional relationship-building negotiation and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally up to 50%
