Job Description:

Do you have what it takes to lead L3Harris Electronic Warfare programs into the next generation Are you interested in competing and winning new business opportunities related to aerospace defense Do you have what it takes to execute programs that are literally changing the game in electronic warfare If so L3Harris is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager for the Electronic Warfare division to capture and execute responsive aerospace defense programs.

In this role you will lead the supply chain strategy and execution for capturing and executing Electronic Warfare programs. You will support complex development programs throughout the product life cycle from establishing procurement and material strategies to employing best supplier management practices. Your responsibilities will include ensuring a successful transition from development to production collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust supply chain strategies managing supplier relationships and performance to meet program objectives and overseeing program proposal efforts cost management and compliance with internal and external regulations.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for leading supply chain strategy and execution in partnership with Engineering Program Management and Operations by ensure material availability that meets program needs.
  • Must have the passion business acumen and experience to drive best-in-class supply chain processes and efficiencies. Able to use hands-on cross-functional approaches to identify pain points and drive improvements
  • Work with the assigned functional and program leaders to track and coordinate all program deliverables highlighting key program risks and putting plans in place to mitigate those risks providing regular reports/updates on program status including identification and mitigation of long-term supply chain risks.
  • Oversee material cost accounts to ensure programs stay on cost and schedule.
  • Manage the flow of critical milestones and project requirements including analysis of supplier capacity and capability. Will ensure supplier ability to supply parts with on-going adjustment of material flow for adequate line fill and inventory optimization.
  • Provide technical support for DFx (design for manufacturability and cost) including reviewing engineering changes and assessment of materials/supply chain impact.
  • Active engagement in process improvements to continually increase efficiency and effectiveness of product development and supply chain processes.
  • Manage supplier relationships and supplier performance to achieve program and customer requirements.
  • Interacts with suppliers to ensure appropriate support and execution of deliverables as well as participate in managing supplier relationships and performance.
  • Develop drive and track supply chain management metrics customized to EW programs
  • Responsible for high-level relationship management evolve as recognized thought leader/trusted partner

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • DoD Secret clearance preferred.
  • Experiencein the following contracttypes: FFP FPIF T&M Labor Hour Cost Reimbursement(w/fixed-fee incentive fee or award fee)
  • Experience as Cost Account Manager. Material budgets and sales forecasting preferred.
  • Design & development experience using Gated processes
  • Experience managing Statement of Works
  • Program Management and Earned value experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to periodically travel to supplier facilities (mainly domestic locations)
