Milestones Day School (Waltham MA) is seeking a talented and experienced licensed school or clinical psychologist (MA/MS CAGS Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology) to work with our students for 40 hours per week starting in September 2025 to cover a maternity leave (September 2025-June 2026). The caseload consists of approximately 12 students and 4 weekly emotional regulation groups. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm plus an additional paid 5 hours for extra planning on your own time. Services must take place onsite only (remote psychologists will not be considered).Milestones Day School has provided state-of-the-art evidence-based comprehensive educational and therapeutic programming for students with high-functioning autism and mental health challenges for the past 30 years. This roles ideal candidate will have strong organizational and management skills and a strong fondness for our responsibilities include:General program management supervision and oversightProviding consultation/training periodically to Milestones staffProviding diagnostic & psychological assessments (including personality/projective assessments)Writing reports & effectively presenting information test results diagnoses & recommendations at meetings in a manner easily understood by the team (including family) & when appropriate the studentLiaison to students outside psychologists and psychiatristsProvide individual (approximately 12 students) & weekly small group therapy (classes up to 8 students) for 4-5 classroomsConsult with families occasionallyProvide crisis intervention in situations requiring immediate psychological treatmentEvaluate the progress of therapeutic programs and make individual modificationsAssess mental status (including suicidality) in students and develop plans based on findingsWrite IEP goals benchmarks and progress reports for the psychological aspects of the students IEPsContinue to keep up with professional development for current trends in the field (Milestones provides stipends for professional development)Requirements:Ph.D. Psy.D. Ed.D. in Psychology or Licensed School Psychologist (MA MS or CAGS)Licensed in the state of MassachusettsKnowledge and experience with a variety of assessment instruments including administration scoring and interpretationKnowledge and experience of a wide variety of psychological methods.
