Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for process control and electrical systems Were offering a 6-month opportunity to join a dynamic team supporting cutting-edge chemical pilot plant operations.

This is a great chance to apply your engineering skills in a real-world environment where no two days are the same.

Job Summary:
Provide engineering support for ongoing chemical pilot plant projects with a focus on process control and electrical systems. Assist in managing increased electrical engineering workloads including data compilation report generation and field operations support. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting installation maintenance and operation of pilot plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and support chemical pilot plant systems; shift work required (24/5 and 24/7 as needed).

  • Collaborate with plant operators to collect data and support the production of hydrocarbon and chemical products.

  • Assist in the design wiring and installation of PLCs and instrumentation for process automation and controls.

  • Document electrical drawings I/O configurations and tag IDs using Microsoft Word Excel and Visio.

  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems; support process development and improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in equipment installation turnaround maintenance safety procedure development and sample preparation.

  • Ensure cleanliness and readiness of pilot units; adhere to plant safety protocols and operating procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering (with coursework in circuits and process dynamics/control).

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and Visio.

  • Solid understanding of electrical circuits thermodynamics and mechanical systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task between technical calculations and hands-on system assembly.
