Job Description

Job Title: Senior Associate Materials Process Engineering

Job Location: Jupiter FL

Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

We are seeking an early-career materials engineer to join the team and support the RS-25 program. RS-25 has numerous complex processing requirements which require good fundamental materials knowledge as well as practical industrial skills. Candidate will have the opportunity to interface with a variety of disciplines and work on interesting projects most especially on a new process stand-up team.

Essential Functions:

  • Support project teams for the production of rocket engine hardware
  • Evaluate materials and processes particularly for non-conforming conditions or off-nominal needs
  • Identify improvements in processes and requirements to support drives for improved efficiency
  • Technical report writing to document internal knowledge
  • Lab-support as necessary to manage projects
  • 35% Travel

Qualifications:

Masters degree in related field.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Lab-based analytical skills including metallography
  • Understanding of fundamental materials engineering
