The Industrial business area tailors insurance and risk management solutions for its approximately 1300 customers and the main products are property liability occupational injury/accident and cargo insurance. We are a leading player on the Nordic market in terms of industrial insurance.

About the role

In this dynamic and people-focused role you will combine leadership with operational responsibility. As a teamleader youll coach and support a team of Assistant Underwriters working with administration of international insurance programs. You will be responsible for regular one-on-one meetings development dialogues and salary reviews and even more importantly you will create a team culture where collaboration clarity and development are natural parts of everyday life.

Alongside your leadership responsibilities you will also work hands-on with a customer portfolio within one or more lines of business Property Liability and/or Cargo. To complement the team we are looking for someone with experience in Property insurance. Your tasks will include administering global programs handling renewals supporting customers with documentation and making sure all relevant information is reflected in our systems.

You will collaborate closely with many functions Underwriting Sales Risk Engineering and IT and act as the connecting link that ensures great customer delivery. You will also be part of the country management team for Industrial Sweden and have the support of your Nordic leader and colleagues in the UW Solutions management team.

About the team

Underwriting Solutions is a Nordic organization consisting of around 40 Assistant Underwriters. In Sweden we are about 20 colleagues located in three offices. We work in close partnership with all parts of the Industrial business area - from Underwriting and Sales to Risk and IT - always with the customer in focus.

As a local leader in Sweden you will be one of two teamleaders reporting to a Nordic leader and youll have a big influence on shaping the culture and direction of your local team.

Who are you

We are looking for someone who have a genuine interest in people and a curiosity in wanting to know understand and develop your employees. You need to see the importance of working with change management and motivating your colleagues. Being self-motivated structured and have the ability to plan are important qualities in this role. Furthermore it is important that you have a strong customer orientation and an analytical approach. You also have:

• Experience from being a leader in similar roles

• Willingness to learn and work with several business lines (Property Cargo Liability)

• Experience in managing and working with large international clients and insurance programs

• Experience within Property insurance and solid understanding of complex international insurance programs from assistant underwriter or related roles

• An interest in administrative processes and reporting

• Fluency in English and Swedish language
