We are looking for a Logistics Analyst who will help drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness across various modes of freight transportation!
This job is based in Cluj-Napoca Romania.
We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of working hybrid.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Monitor Ocean container bookings.
Compile Data to report and analyze acquisition costs.
Collect data for ocean freight forecast to secure container capacity.
Audit freight cost and documentation (transportation invoice verification & validation).
All Freight modes (Ocean/air/ground/Parcel) booking supervision.
Transport damages & losses management information/documents centralization claims submission and follow-up.
Support to recover delayed deliveries.
Customs import/export support (gather information to ease import customs clearance/ communicate with brokers/forwarders to smooth clearance).
OTM support: create update and close out all entries in the transportation management system. Provide training to newly onboarded suppliers.
Weekly & monthly metrics update and distribution (acquisition cost tracking & calculation)
Ground transportation rate and contract management.
Analyze and guide Customer Service in transport mode selection to reduce costs improve service to customers and increase delivery speed from suppliers.
Various administrative tasks (Special transport request updates Standard operating procedures creation/updates Special freight recharge follow-up etc.).
For This Role You Will Need:
Bachelors degree in Economics Business Logistics or related field.
2 years of relevant experience in transportation logistics or supply chain operations.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in English.
Comfort working in a global cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Experience with logistics systems and tools.
Background in European logistics operations.
Familiarity with Oracle systems.
