Role description:
The Delivery Lead is a leadership role focused on achieving delivery excellence and client delight within the Australian Enterprise Decision Analytics (EDA) solutions portfolio an asset investment planning and decision support tool. By leveraging technical expertise effective collaboration and client engagement this role ensures that solutions consistently deliver measurable client value and outcomes that differentiate Arcadis from competitors.
As the custodian of the Australian delivery portfolio you will oversee project execution manage resources and ensure client satisfaction through high-quality delivery outcomes. In addition to leading and mentoring team members you will take direct ownership of project management on certain client engagements ensuring delivery aligns with agreed scope quality and timelines.
A key aspect of the role is supporting the growth of the EDA solutions business by collaborating with sales teams on business-winning efforts leveraging client insights and identifying opportunities for expansion. The Delivery Lead embodies technical expertise client-centricity and leadership driving both operational excellence and strategic growth.

Role accountabilities:
- Delivery Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the Australian delivery portfolio of EDA solutions projects ensuring the realisation of client outcomes and maximising value.
- Monitor portfolio performance measured by delivered margin versus as-sold margin and identify and manage risks and opportunities.
- Consolidate resource demand profiles across the portfolio and align with capability leads and resourcing teams
- Client Engagement & Project Delivery:
- Take direct responsibility for project management on select client engagements ensuring on-time on-budget delivery aligned with agreed scope and quality standards.
- Leador contribute to delivery projects effectively balancing technical expertise with a client-focused mindset.
- Own solution designs providing technical advisory to project team members and clients and working with / collaborating with respective EDA technical teams as appropriate.
- Capture evaluate and continuously improve client satisfaction to ensure exceptional outcomes from EDA solutions delivery.
- Business Development & Client Insight:
- Provide technical advisory input to support Sales teams with business-winning opportunities and growth initiatives in the Australian region.
- Contribute to business-winning efforts by reviewing and shaping EDA solutions responses that address client needs (e.g. technical requirements delivery methodologies solution design and resource plans)
- Leverage client insights and market intelligence to inform the strategic direction of EDA product and solution development.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead inspire and mentor team members to foster a positive collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Provide leadership to EDA Solution Delivery team members deployed on client projects
- EDA Solutions Delivery Methodology:
- Collaborate with the EDA Solutions Delivery Director to refine and implement the EDA solutions delivery playbook improving standardisation repeatability and predictability.
- Drive enhancements in delivery quality and efficiency to ensure consistent and successful client outcomes across the portfolio.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven track record in managing delivery portfolios including monitoring performance metrics managing risks and optimising outcomes.
- Demonstrated project management expertise including scope definition scheduling budgeting and risk mitigation to ensure successful delivery. For example you have experience of waterfall and Agile methodologies and within Agile understand the differences between Scrum SAFe Kanban including their context and application.
- Strong technical acumen in Asset Management and/or Asset Investment Planning including expertise in asset & portfolio lifecycle modelling and mathematical solving.
- Proven ability to translate and communicate complex technical concepts into client centric solutions including defining appropriate scenario analyses and presenting methodologies and results to all levels of a clients organisation.
- Experience in client engagement including capturing and improving client satisfaction nurturing relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
- Familiarity with business-winning processes including shaping and reviewing technical and resource responses to meet client needs.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across teams to align resources drive outcomes and enhance delivery efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a record of inspiring and mentoring teams to foster a positive and high-performing culture.
- Effective communication skills capable of articulating technical details clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders.
- Desirable qualifications include an IAM Certificate or Diploma proficiency in statistical programming languages (e.g. Python or R) and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI)
