Job Description
As part of the universitys decasualisation program we continue to build our diverse academic workforce who deliver the teaching and research of the University. This will provide more employment opportunities to our dedicated casual and fixed-term staff.

- Current Salary Range
- Level A - $77714 to $105053 FTE pa (plus 17% superannuation)
- Level B - $110525 to $131034 FTE pa (plus 17% superannuation)Charles Sturt campus locations (as listed above)

Eligibility
In accordance with clause 20.30 of the Enterprise Agreement to be eligible to apply you need to be a casual or fixed term employee at Charles Sturt and have been:
- employed in the relevant discipline or work unit for at least 1 teaching session in the previous 3 years; and
- performing satisfactorily in these roles as indicated by repeat employment in the discipline or work unit or performance planning development and review process outcomes; and
- awarded a PhD have submitted a PhD thesis for examination are currently enrolled in a PhD program or have been assessed by the University as having qualifications and experience equivalent to AQF10 (other than in circumstances where a PhD is not normally required for appointment).
The University may at its discretion accept an application from an applicant who does not satisfy the requirements above if they otherwise satisfy the requirements and are suitably qualified to perform a position advertised through the decasualisation program.
It is expected that a successful applicant for a Teaching Focused position:
- without a PhD would be appointed at Level A and
- with a PhD would be appointed at Level B.
