This is a full time 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM 3:30 PM. Occasional evenings nights and weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at University Hospital in Madison WI.

We are seeking a Sterile Processing Manager to:
- Manage Sterile Processing operations at University Hospital including budgeting.
- Work as an integral team member with Surgical Services Infection Control Risk Management and Safety departments.
- Responsible for operating a highly complex department functioning under the scrutiny of medical professionals regulatory bodies and Federal and State laws.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Operations or related field Preferred
Work Experience
- 5 years of progressively responsible lead work supervisory or management experience in Sterile Processing or Surgical Services Required
- 7 years of experience managing a Sterile Processing department and/or materials/inventory management department Preferred
- EPIC/Healthlink Experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Professional Sterile Processing Certification (CRCST or CSPDT) Upon Hire Required
- Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) certification Preferred

Required Experience:
Manager
