Essential Functions
Provide tours of the College to transitioning students. Staff the UPWARD Connect Center and provide information specific to transitioning students. Assist with special events including working with community-based organizations on campus. Develop an in-depth knowledge of the College and attend and participate in training opportunities. Work with Educational Navigators to get students acclimated to on-campus resources. Complete general UPWARD Connect Center office tasks including but not limited to mailings general office work stocking supplies event set up/tear down etc. on an as-needed basis. Provide peer support if applicable. Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students faculty members and college employees feel welcomed valued and empowered to contribute. Foster a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Support the Colleges policies and programming related to access fair employment and equal opportunities for all.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
