Beam is looking for an entry-level attorney to join our Legal and Compliance Team as Associate Legal Counsel. This is a full-time hybrid position based in our Columbus office with in-office work required at least two days per week. The Associate Legal Counsel will support Beams business operations through a variety of legal tasks with the goal of developing expertise autonomy and strong in-house counsel capabilities over time. This role is ideal for a newly licensed attorney looking to grow in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

What You Will Bring:

    • JD from an accredited law school
    • Admission to the Ohio Bar
    • 12 years of legal experience (e.g. law firm in-house internship clerkship)

What You Will Do:

    • Draft and review commercial contracts under supervision
    • Conduct legal research draft memos and contribute to policy development
    • Provide practical legal guidance to internal business partners on day-to-day issues
    • Support outside counsel relationships and assist in coordination and documentation
    • Help maintain internal legal records and contract management systems
    • Gain experience advising senior leadership and handling broader in-house responsibilities
    • Assist with other legal projects as assigned

$77400 - $123800 a year
Compensation and Benefits:
Beam offers a competitive base salary paired with an attractive variable compensation structure.
Employees benefit from performance-based bonuses and incentives along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health dental and vision insurance. Additionally Beam provides a 401(k) plan with company matching flexible time off and the opportunity to participate in the equity program.

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidates job-related knowledge skills and experience among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits bonus or other incentives that may be applicable based on position.
