Job Summary:

Plays a role in laying the foundation for our retail business. Reports to the Store Manager and plays an integral role in ensuring our stores are exceeding sales expectations. Assists the Store Manager with building a team of stylists executing processes and procedures that help Joybird consistently provide top tier customer service and ensuring that the store exceeds defined financial performance targets

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):
Coach and mentor others and be a self starter able to identify problems and quickly implement solutions.
Become an expert on the full Joybird catalog and provide style advice and product recommendations to suit a customers unique needs.
Partner with the Store Leader to share your valuable insight with our product marketing and technology teams regarding customer needs and feedback.
Assist Store Leader with scheduling and payroll to effectively meet the needs of the business and company expectations.
Maintain operational excellence assisting with implementation of key policies procedures training and initiatives with your team.
Play a role in recruiting top talent for the team.
In partnership with Store Leader analyze KPIs and reporting to create business solutions and exceed sales targets.
Open and close the store execute system opening and closing procedures and handle cash where appropriate.
Lead uphold and embrace Joybirds mission and core values.

SCOPE & IMPACT:
This role is responsible for the performance of the retail showroom targets currently ranging from $5 - $8M annually.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A leadership background- 1-3 years of retail or hospitality management experience
Bachelors degree or 5 years Industry experience preferred
Travel as required - Must be able to work evenings weekends and holidays

A skillful guide You clearly walk the customer through their purchase and set expectations for delivery and your strong ability to display your expertise and exceed customer expectations means youre the one shaping customers opinions of our brand.

A coach and mentor- You can motivate your team toward a common purpose through communication touchpoints coaching and mentorship.
On the front lines -You are energized by leading from the front

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
You are able to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 50lbs
Uses appropriate equipment and safety techniques

COMPENSATION:

$65000 to $72000 annual salary plus commission
