Were looking for a Visual Designer to join our growing team and help shape the future of our user experience one component screen and micro-interaction at a time. You will be a part of a tight-knit and cross-functional product team that spans design development product management and quality assurance. Youll work closely with experienced designers engineers and marketing colleagues who care deeply about the product the people who use it and each other. At Jottacloud we collaborate across platforms and departments to ensure a unified experience and youll play a key role in making sure everything we ship feels polished purposeful and beautifully consistent. While we value structure we also embrace flexibility giving you space to take initiative explore solutions and help shape how we work.
What youll do:
- Be an integral part of our cross-functional product team (designers developers QA product management)
- Design and iterate on elegant and user-friendly UIs for our applications and website
- Take part in evolving our Figma-based design system ensuring visual consistency across all platforms (web iOS Android Windows Mac)
- Collaborate closely with developers and give input throughout the build process adapting as needed based on technical feedback
- Support marketing and campaign work with visuals homepage updates and creative sparring
- Participate in user testing and help us identify visual and usability improvements
- Help prioritise design tasks and features in an iterative feedback-driven workflow
- Balance efficiency and quality knowing when to go deep and when to move fast
Who you are:
- 24 years of experience in UI visual or interaction design
- Solid experience with Figma from auto layout and tokens to polished design specs and system maintenance. Bonus if you know your way around Adobe Creative Suite
- Hands-on experience designing for multiple surfaces (mobile apps desktop software web etc)
- Strong attention to visual detail from typography and color to layout and animation
- Ability to think in systems and design for consistency across platforms
- Comfortable working independently asking questions and proactively collaborating across disciplines
- Curious and open-minded you like to tinker test and improve
- Fluent in Norwegian or English
