Job Description
Location: Watertown NY 13601
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Open to Local & Travel Candidates
Position Highlights:
- Shift: 12-hour Night (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2160 - $2448
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide clinical guidance to nursing staff across all units during assigned shift.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and reassign staff as needed.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate care for acute changes in patient conditions.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies state and federal regulations.
- Provide hands-on care as needed and support care planning and implementation.
- Document incidents staff concerns and resident status updates.
- Serve as administrative representative in absence of other leadership.
- Communicate effectively with residents families and interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
- Active RN License in New York State (NYS) Required
- BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross) Required
- Minimum 1 year of RN Supervisor experience in a Long-Term Care setting Required
- Experience with dementia and memory care residents Preferred
- Strong leadership organizational and communication skills
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Travelers must live outside a 60-mile radius from the facility.
