Job Description
Patient Care Technician Contract Position
- Location: Rochester New York 14621
- Duration: 13 weeks Contract
- Shift: 8-hour days; 9a-5p
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $400 $480
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
- Measure and record vital signs intake/output and other patient data.
- Assist with mobility positioning and transportation of patients.
- Observe and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
- Support the RN during medical procedures and care routines.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment including changing linens and sanitizing equipment.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities.
Requirements:
- Must have acute care hospital experience (REQUIRED).
- High School Diploma or GED (REQUIRED).
- Must have acute care experience; hospital experience is required
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience.
- Completion of a certified patient care technician or Nurse Aide program.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or Red Cross (REQUIRED).
