We are looking HR Manager for our Manufacturing plant at Vilas Transcore
Job Title: HR Manager
Department: Human Resources
Location: Ganapatpura Tal. Karjan
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HR management 2 year mandatory exprience as manager level preferably within a manding of labor laws HR best practices performance management and compensation practices in manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with HRIS systems and payroll software is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead and manage the HR function in a dynamic manufacturing company. The HR Manager will play a key role in shaping the companys HR strategy ensuring effective people management and driving a culture of engagement productivity and compliance. This individual will be responsible for overseeing recruitment employee relations performance management compensation and benefits training and health & safety in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. HR Strategy & Leadership:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business goals of the manufacturing company.
  • Partner with senior leadership to design HR plans that enhance workforce productivity and business performance.
  • Provide leadership guidance and support to the HR team to ensure effective HR operations.
  1. Recruitment & Staffing:
  • Lead the recruitment process to ensure timely hiring of skilled labor technicians supervisors and other key positions.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify workforce needs and maintain an effective staffing strategy.
  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth integration of new employees into the company culture.
  1. Employee Relations & Engagement:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations matters and resolve any workplace conflicts or concerns.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration trust and accountability across all levels of the workforce.
  1. Compensation & Benefits:
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
  • Oversee the implementation of benefits programs including health insurance retirement plans and other employee perks.
  • Conduct market research and salary benchmarking to ensure compensation packages are aligned with industry standards.
  1. Performance Management:
  • Oversee the performance management system including setting clear goals providing ongoing feedback and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Assist managers in handling underperformance issues and provide support for employee development plans.
  • Implement programs to recognize and reward high-performing employees promoting a culture of excellence.
  1. Training & Development:
  • Assess training needs for employees and work with relevant departments to create development programs to address skill gaps.
  • Coordinate with external training providers to offer technical safety and soft skills training.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and track employee progress to ensure continuous professional development.
  1. Compliance & Labor Relations:
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws regulations and industry standards (e.g. OSHA local labor laws etc..
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and ensure the company is compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle labor negotiations if applicable and work with unions or employee representatives to maintain positive labor relations.
  1. Health Safety & Wellbeing:
  • Promote and ensure workplace safety through effective health and safety policies and programs in accordance with OSHA and industry regulations.
  • Lead safety training initiatives conduct regular safety audits and ensure employees are aware of and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Oversee employee wellbeing initiatives ensuring the physical and mental health of employees is prioritized.
  1. HR Administration & Reporting:
  • Manage HR administrative functions including maintaining accurate employee records managing payroll and overseeing HR systems.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics on key performance indicators such as turnover rates employee satisfaction training effectiveness etc.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on HR data to improve business operations and HR practices.
  1. Leadership Development & Succession Planning:
  • Identify and develop leadership talent within the organization ensuring a pipeline of future leaders.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on succession planning to ensure the company is prepared for growth and leadership transitions.
