Litigation Associate Role Overview
Our clients are seeking a litigation associate with 2 6 years of experience to join a dynamic and diverse legal team. The role offers the opportunity to work on a wide array of trial and appellate matters across multiple industries including technology real estate entertainment hospitality and more. The team regularly appears in both state and federal courts in California and nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support a broad range of litigation matters from initial investigation through trial and appeal.
Conduct complex legal research and draft high-quality memoranda motions and pleadings.
Participate in client strategy discussions discovery depositions and court proceedings.
Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver effective legal solutions.
Contribute to meaningful pro-bono initiatives aligned with practice expertise.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
2 5 years of litigation experience ideally within a law firm setting or through judicial clerkships.
Familiarity with commercial litigation and interest or exposure to areas such as white collar defense CEQA/land use soft IP employment law or data privacy.
Strong academic credentials and demonstrated excellence in legal writing and analysis.
Admitted to the California (or your local jurisdiction) State Bar and in good standing.
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Committed to high standards of professional ethics and quality of service.
Awareness of unconscious bias and a consistent commitment to equity and inclusion in professional settings.
