Job Description
Job Title: Showroom Salesperson
Industry: Plumbing & Hardware Materials Supply
Location: Nairobi
Company Overview:
Our client is a reputable and fast-growing supplier of high-quality plumbing and hardware materials serving developers contractors and end-users across East Africa. To support their expanding operations they are seeking to recruit a customer-focused and tech-savvy Showroom Salesperson to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and attend to walk-in retail customers in the showroom offering excellent customer service and product knowledge.
Assist customers in selecting suitable plumbing and hardware products based on their needs.
Prepare and issue accurate quotations for customer orders.
Support the team in managing and organizing showroom stock.
Provide input and support in digital marketing efforts particularly on social media by leveraging graphic design skills (preferred).
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma in Sales & Marketing Business Administration or a related field.
3 5 years of sales experience in the Plumbing & Hardware Materials Supply industry is mandatory.
Preferred: Background or knowledge in graphic design and familiarity with social media platforms for marketing purposes.
Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in preparing quotations and understanding plumbing/hardware products.
Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
