Maintain proper sanitation according to department standards by cleaning animal kennels walls windows and floors.
Ensures all animals have adequate food and water by replenishing supplies.
Bathing grooming exercising feeding administering medication and monitoring behavior of animals.
Ensures animals are properly identified with tags and correct cage cards.
Provides humane treatment to all animals.
Follows proper safety measures and procedures when using chemicals and cleaning supplies.
Any other duties as assigned by the Animal Control Administrator.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or relevant education and work experience
Previous experience with animals preferred
Team oriented enjoys working as part of a team
Valid Drivers License
Additional Information :
Work Schedule: Friday-Sunday 9 am to 3 pm
$15.50 an hour
