Tax and Treasury Manager

The Finance team has the vision to be one global team connected within a robust control environment collaborating to deliver value for clients and colleagues across the Firm.

The role of the Tax and Treasury Manager Warsaw is focused on all tax matters statutory reporting and compliance in the area of tax and client money in the local office cash flow management and optimization next to various Regional and World Firm activities and projects.

The role of the Tax and Treasury Manager Warsaw is primarily focused on:

Tax Related Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly/ annual/ current tax declarations (VAT WHT) in line with Polish tax regulations and laws
• Month/ Year end closing in the corporate and statutory books tax aspects
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities ensuring timely and accurate reporting and resolution of any VAT and WHT tax-related queries
• Monitor changes in Polish tax laws and regulations assessing their impact on the company and advising on necessary adjustments
• Projects (global/local)

Treasury Related Responsibilities:

• Supporting online and offline amendments to all Bank Mandates
• Ensuring timely renewal of all Bank Mandates
• Developing and maintain strong banking relationships to ensure delivery of appropriate and cost-effective banking
• Managing corporate credit cards arrangements
• Reviewing and reporting Client Money as per Firms policy
• Preparing Inter-office payments
• Posting of current bank transactions on daily basis
• Preparing annual budgeted cash flow and monthly cash flow forecasts
• Monitoring FX rates for currency and cash flow management
• Managing and maintaining required bank documentation signing authorities and related controls
• Managing accounting and auditing inquiries relating to cash and treasury operations
• Supervising daily cash position and ensuring all planned transactions are executed
• Ensuring compliance of monthly checklist for closure of books of accounts
• Projects (global/local)

Other Responsibilities:

• Partners renumerations reconciliations
• Statutory reporting to National Bank of Poland
• Other tasks assigned by the management

Qualifications :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Tax or Accounting with 5-7 years of experience in equivalent role
• Extensive knowledge of tax code compliance and procedures for partnerships and corporations
• Familiarity with researching tax guidance
• Strong knowledge in local regional cash related regulations and FX policies
• Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks
• Strong skills and experience with Outlook Excel and Word
