The Quantum and Advances Technologies Global Talent Attraction PhD Scholarship is for international applicants who identify as women or non-binary and are interested in conducting research in following areas:
The selection of applicants for the award of higher degree research scholarships at Griffith University involves consideration of your academic merit and research background.
Applicant must hold a Bachelor degree with first-class honours or second-class honours (Division A) or a Masters degree incorporating a significant research component from a recognised institution; or
a record of research or a qualification granted by a professional or other body deemed by the Dean Griffith Graduate Research School to be of a standard comparable to a Bachelor degree with second-class honours (Division A).

About the scholarship
The Quantum and Advanced Technologies Talent Building Program Global Talent Attraction PhD Scholarship has an annual stipend of $45000 (fixed) for a period of 3 years of full-time study with up to six months extension if required. The scholarship package includes an additional translation and development allowance worth $5000 per annum for 3 years full-time for a maximum total of $15000 and a travel allowance worth $5000 total.
A successful International applicant will also be awarded a Griffith University International Postgraduate Research Scholarship to cover tuition fees for up to three years. Please see the GUIPRS Conditions of Award for more information.

You are invited to develop a research project and seek appropriate supervision in one of the eligible research areas to develop custom project proposals which are tailored to a combination of the candidates strengths and faculty research interests.
