The Mens Accountability Practitioner will engage with individuals via inbound and outreach calls supporting those who have expressed a willingness to change their use of violence and abuse. Through therapeutic engagement the practitioner will assist individuals in developing language and self-awareness around their behaviour fostering accountability and promoting behaviour change. This will be achieved through motivational interviewing counselling case management and risk assessment strategies. The role requires the practitioner to conduct comprehensive assessments implement appropriate responses to ensure the safety of the individual and their partners and children and maintain high-quality client records and reporting standards.
