Job Description
Job Title:Injection Molding Production Shift Supervisors
Department:Production
Reports to: Plant Manager
FLSA:Non-Exempt
Schedule:Monday-Friday
Available Shifts:7am-3pm 3pm-11pm 11pm-7am
Job Summary:We have openings for a 1st 2nd and 3rd Shift Production Supervisors who are enthusiastic and looking to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate with have 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must strategic thinkers and lead with a hands-on approach.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Lead team by demonstrating a commitment to everyones safety in the workplace.
- Planning assigning and directing work activities to meet production schedules
- Monitor operator workload and /or utilization.
- Audit and submit daily updated production report.
- Troubleshooting for quality and efficiency optimization.
- Suggest and promote continuous improvement ideas
- Conduct necessary coaching and counselling of employees including leading or participating in the progressive disciplinary process.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3-5 years supervisory experience.
- 3-5 years experience in plastics preferred (injection molding) but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check physical and drug screen
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to act with integrity professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strategic thinker and problem solver
- Must be able to bend twist climb stand and lift items of up to 50lbs
- Must be able to pass a background check physical and drug screen
