As a Cataract Sales Representative supporting ophthalmic surgeons and healthcare professionals across Romania you will be trusted to drive the adoption of Alcons full cataract portfolioranging from monofocal and advanced technology IOLs (AT-IOLs) to consumables and surgical solutions. Youll play a critical role in both maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying new opportunities in the evolving ophthalmic landscape.
Collaborating with cataract surgeons and clinic teams to optimize procedure performance and identify growth opportunities particularly around AT-IOLs and cataract consumables.
Driving sales growth and market across Alcons cataract portfolio by ensuring effective pull-through deployment of value-added services and promotion of toric lenses.
Providing end-to-end procedure support including in-theatre presence phaco equipment guidance and post-training follow-up to enhance surgical outcomes.
Supporting cross-functional efforts by generating equipment leads advising other sales colleagues and escalating product feedback in compliance with regulatory standards.
Consistently acting in accordance with Alcons compliance and vigilance requirements ensuring timely reporting of all product complaints and post-marketing surveillance issues.
A Bachelors degree in medical sciences biology business or related field.
A minimum of 3 years experience in sales within medical devices or pharmaceuticals ideally with high-end consumables or capital equipment.
Strong clinical knowledge of ophthalmic procedures and comfort working in surgical environments.
Excellent communication problem-solving and business acumen with a drive for performance and customer satisfaction.
Fluency in English and Romanian; a valid drivers license and willingness to travel regularly.
