Job Description

HOURS:7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

PAY RATE:$12.50 / Hr

START TIME:7:00 AM

Summary

We are looking for a dependable Furniture Mover to join our team. You should be punctual physically fit and a collaborative worker. Your duties primarily involve packing furniture items loading and unloading and assembling or placing items as needed. You should feel comfortable driving a truck/van or golf cart and know how to interact professionally with customers. All of our staff members are expected to use extreme care when handling customer goods. Applicants with a Class A or C CDL are welcomed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver furniture.
Safely load and unload breakable itemsand report any incidents to the Supervisor.
Assemble and place furniture as needed.
Clean-up after furniture moving is completed.

Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or GED certificate
Ability to lift heavy furniture and climb stairs.
Valid drivers license (Class A or C CDL a plus)
Collaborator
Customer service skills
Prior furniture moving experience is a plus.
All other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job the employee may be regularly required to sit stand bend reach and move about the facility. Candidates should be able to operate a pickup truck golf cart and/or SUVs. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and comply with OSHA standards. Frequent exposure to shop elements such as noise dust fumes and odors. Safety glasses earplugs gloves or ventilation masks may be required while performing a specific task.
