THE OPPORTUNITY

Were on the hunt for a strategic hands-on CFO to help shape the future of Lakeshirts. Based at our Detroit Lakes MN headquarters this executive role is key to driving growth operational excellence and long-term value creation.

As CFO you will lead all financial administrative and risk functions partnering closely with our President CEOs and external stakeholders. Were seeking a forward-thinking leader with a proven track record of success in private equity-backed businesses M&A experience and ideally familiarity with manufacturing models.

This CFO role is built for someone who balances strategic vision with financial discipline- someone who leads with humility collaborates with intention and brings sharp business acumen to every decision. We take our numbers seriously but ourselves Not so much. A sense of humor is essential and the dry kind counts.

LOCATION: Onsite at our HQ in Detroit Lakes MN is preferred

PAY RANGE: $175000-$225000/year annual performance-based bonus

What Youll Do

• Deliver strategic financial leadership as a key advisor to the President CEOs and Board.
• Lead financial planning analysis reporting and forecasting aligned with company goals.
• Guide all mergers and acquisitions activity from evaluation to integration.
• Prepare and present quarterly financial results to internal stakeholders and investors.
• Build and maintain strong banking relationships and vendor partnerships.
• Oversee budgeting cash flow and performance metrics to improve EBITDA and long-term growth.
• Leverage systems and technology to improve automation accuracy and customer-facing processes.
• Partner with departments to enhance operational performance through data-driven insights.
• Represent the organization in private equity-related interactions and governance.

What Youll Bring

• Bachelors in Finance Accounting or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 5 years of executive experience in finance ideally within a private equity environment.
• Proven success in leading financial strategy and overseeing mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong communicator with a collaborative leadership style grounded in Servant Leadership.
• Technologically adept and experienced with ERP or financial reporting systems.
• Strong judgment integrity and ability to drive change in a growing organization.
