As Assistant Director of Finance at St Pancras London youll play a pivotal role in leading the hotels Finance Office overseeing financial operations and partnering with departments across the hotel to drive commercial performance. Youll lead the monthly close support forecasting and budgeting ensure strong internal controls and provide financial insight that supports strategic decision-making. As our new Assistant Director of Finance you will be responsiblefor:
- Effectively managing the day to day operation of the Finance Department to execute finance and accounting responsibilities for the Hotel.
- Provide strong technical expertise and direction to support the Hotel performance in regards to operating budget forecasts and financial reporting.
- Leverage both your own team and other departments to ensure appropriate controls are in place to manage business risks
- The development andretention of a highly motivated and diverse team that can make a positive impact on the business
- Leading from the frontsetting the example of great hospitality guest interaction and associateengagement
- Balanced Scorecard Results: Supports strategies and conducts activities to drive financial results guest satisfaction human capital index and market share.
- Financial and Accounting Management: Provides assistance to the DOF in developing the annual business plan budgets forecasts financial reports tax compliance and profit and loss statements. Works through own team and influencing department managers to ensure appropriate controls are in place to manage business risks.
- Ensuring Report Delivery Deadlines - Submitting reports in a timely manner ensuring delivery deadlines.
- Ensuring P&L Accuracy - Ensuring profits and losses are documented accurately in line with Marriott Processes and procedures.
