Job Description

AWS is looking for a dedicated resourceful and customer obsessed Executive Assistant to support leaders on our Support Team. This role requires attention to detail excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while prioritizing and executing on tasks that have an impact across multiple teams including customers.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced planner and coordinator with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while collaborating with other EAs. The individual in this role must understand business priorities demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs drive improvements for a globally dispersed team and understand handling of confidential information and be trusted to maintain data privacy. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little guidance react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround at times. This role must be able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group.

Key job responsibilities
- Proactively manage leader calendars with attention to accuracy detail and allocation of time to promote productivity; recognizing the need to re-prioritize as appropriate.
- Organize and manage meetings off-sites and team-based events.
- Understand business priorities and proactively look for ways to improve processes to create efficiency and scale for the leadership team ranging from organizational communication mechanisms to tools to planning meetings.
- Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on open items to include meeting notes and action items.
- Support and at times manage small to medium projects.
- Work collaboratively with Executive Assistants throughout the extended team.

- 5 years of senior level leadership support or 3 years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
