As a Full-Time Teller you will play a vital role at your branch for both your teammates and UW Credit Unions members. Your job is to make a positive impact on members lives by accurately and enthusiastically performing a variety of transactions to meet their needs. Responsibilities

A Day in the Life of a Teller

Each day will be a different adventure. Below is a snapshot of what your day could look like:

  • Welcome and assist members at the Elm Grove branch representing UW Credit Union.
  • Strive to meet performance goals in line with our Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
  • Keep a good understanding of all UW Credit Union products and services.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient handling of member requests at the Teller line.
  • Follow UW Credit Unions Cash Management policies and procedures.
  • Investigate potential errors in Teller transactions and communicate with affected members.
  • Build relationships with members understand their needs offer recommendations and make referrals when appropriate.
  • Look for ways to exceed our members expectations.
  • Work with your branch team to address member and branch needs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of prior experience in customer service.
  • Confidence with cash handling and transactions.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with customers from diverse age groups and backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional skills.
  • Collaborative team player who is also comfortable working independently in a self-directed environment.
  • Comfortable using computers and mobile devices.
  • Skilled in resolving issues and demonstrating empathy when needed.
