Job Description
S&H Youth and Adult Services is currently hiring for a Facility Maintenance Technician to join our strong team in Sanford NC. Our ideal candidate is attentive ambitious reliable and has great time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a healthy sanitized and safe environment for SHYAS staff and consumers
- Clean and disinfect various types of surfaces floors and fixtures
- Dusting sweeping mopping and vacuuming floors
- Clean designated areas with proper equipment and chemicals
- Maintain a high level of precaution hygiene and professionalism
- Perform and track routine inspections and maintenance activities
- Notifying supervisors of any issues or problems
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience
- Ability to manage your time efficiently
- Work well when supervisors are not present
- Handle basic maintenance building repairs cleaning and other janitorial work
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies
