Vice President Resort Apparel Sales Division

Detroit Lakes MN (Preferred) Travel Required: 30-50%

Were seeking a strategic people-focused sales leader to join us as the Vice President of our Resort Sales Division. Youll be the visionary force behind our resort apparel and headwear sales-leading iconic brands like Blue 84 Zephyr EMI-TGT Yesterdays Aksels Altered Latitudes and Lakegirl.

In this executive leadership role youll drive growth through bold sales strategies a culture of accountability and an unwavering commitment to team development. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment has a proven track record in sales leadership and possesses exceptional communication skills to inspire and align teams across departments.

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing resort sales team to meet and exceed ambitious growth goals.
  • Champion recruiting onboarding and developing a best-in-class sales force across in-house in-territory and independent rep models.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for market expansion and product category growth-from custom to core resort apparel.
  • Implement and measure cascading KPIs and performance targets that drive sales excellence.
  • Leverage data and CRM tools to forecast trends optimize territory performance and track pipeline health.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing product development finance and operations to ensure brand alignment and customer-first execution.
  • Foster innovation by implementing new sales technologies methodologies and tools that elevate our go-to-market approach.
  • Drive consistency and excellence in customer experiences across all touchpoints.
  • Serve as a cultural leader building strong internal relationships and energizing teams around a shared vision.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience ideally in the apparel retail or resort industries.
  • A track record of driving growth scaling teams and delivering exceptional revenue results.
  • Experience coaching mentoring and developing successful sales teams.
  • Strong business acumen with a knack for strategic planning and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency with CRM and LMS systems (Salesforce and Brainshark preferred) plus Excel PowerPoint and analytics tools.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills-youre just as comfortable presenting in the boardroom as you are connecting with reps in the field.
  • Curious creative and humble-someone who embraces change thrives on challenge and leads with empathy.
  • A servant leader who builds trust cultivates culture and inspires performance across every level.
  • Willingness to travel 40-50% to support and connect with teams and clients.

COGNITIVE OR MENTAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB: Employee must be able to see and hear read and write. Requires good judgment people-oriented flexible organized diplomatic reliable enthusiastic courteous helpful patient.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequently sits walks and reaches. Occasionally lifts and carries up to 50 lbs. Must be able to travel as needed.
