About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a well-organised and resilient individual to join the busy and dynamic Children and Family Services Business Support Team as a SENA Support Worker Co-Ordinator working with the busy SEN Assessment teams. The role is part of the wider Business Support Service and as such an important part of this role is to provide back up to colleagues across service areas and to assist in handling urgent work on a day-to-day basis.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of business support services both administrative and secretarial functions. Utilising good organisational skills to co-ordinate local and statutory requirements
  • To create develop and maintain information systems and processes including Microsoft office packages to produce report
  • To undertake a range of financial routines including p-card arrangements and monitor budgets associated with service requirements.
  • To be first point of contact for enquiries from schools partners voluntary and community organisations agencies and members of the public including generic inbox management on a daily basis and to communicate effective
  • To line manage staff including supervision and Annual Performance Review meetings
  • To be able to follow written processes and guidance provided.
  • To be able to prioritise your own workload and work as part of a team.
