About the role:

As a Senior BI Report Specialist youll design develop and maintain high-quality Power BI reports and analyses that deliver clear actionable insights to support project and program delivery. Youll own the entire BI development lifecycleincluding data modeling integration visualization report design and optimizationempowering our teams with the information they need to make impactful data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain high-quality Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to business requirements ensuring intuitive user experience and effective data visualization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting needs translate them into robust data models and implement advanced DAX calculations for dynamic analysis.
• Integrate transform and optimize data from multiple enterprise sources (e.g. SAP Primavera P6 SharePoint Databricks Excel) to ensure accurate scalable and high-performance reporting solutions.
• Uphold best practices in report design documentation security (including row-level security) and governance to ensure compliance reusability and data integrity.
• Provide technical support and training to business users stay current with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric advancements and contribute to continuous improvement of BI standards and processes.

To thrive in this role you will bring:

• A degree in IT Computer Science Data Analytics Engineering or equivalent industry experience with a minimum of 5 years expertise in business intelligence data analytics or reportingespecially Power BI development.
• Advanced skills in designing building and optimizing Power BI solutions including strong proficiency in DAX Power Query (M language) data modeling (star schema) and integration with enterprise systems such as SAP SharePoint and Databricks.
• Experience applying UX/UI best practices to develop intuitive interactive and user-friendly reports with a keen eye for data accuracy validation and thorough documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective reporting solutions and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Relevant certifications or training (highly regarded) such as Microsoft Power BI/Power Platform data modeling DAX Power Query SQL Python or Agile/Project Management methodologies.
