Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating and providing patient care through assessment planning implementation and evaluation to support recovery and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care within scope of practice.

  • Educate patients based on individual needs.

  • Implement physician orders and protocols.

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team and delegate tasks as appropriate.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Experience:

  • Hospital experience preferred.

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active RN license in Wyoming in good standing.

  • BLS certification (required).

  • ACLS certification (required for C-section care roles).

  • PALS certification (required if working with pediatric patients).

  • NRP certification (required for Family Care Unit).

  • Intermediate & Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring (required for labor nurses within set timeframes).

Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong communication listening and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organization time management and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.

  • Proficient in learning new computer systems.

  • Ethical and legally accountable in practice.
