An established and progressive healthcare organization is looking for a board-certified or board-eligible PM&R Physician to join our client s dynamic interdisciplinary team. This role is centered around diagnosing and managing patients with physical disabilities or impairments resulting from various medical conditions with an emphasis on restoring mobility function and improving overall patient wellness.
Primary Duties:
Assess and manage musculoskeletal neurological and functional disorders.
Design and implement customized rehabilitation treatment plans.
Collaborate with physical therapists occupational therapists and medical specialists.
Conduct diagnostic and intervention procedures including EMGs and ultrasound-guided injections.
Utilize non-surgical pain management strategies for acute and chronic cases.
Regularly monitor treatment outcomes and refine care plans accordingly.
Educate patients and families on care strategies and recovery expectations.
Document clinical encounters and treatment plans in the EMR system.
Contribute to clinical meetings case conferences and quality initiatives.

Requirements
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree with PM&R residency completion.
Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Active unrestricted medical license in Michigan.
DEA certification.
Fellowship training in sub specialties like pain sports or spinal cord medicine is preferred.
Preferred Experience:
Skilled in procedures like EMG/NCS.
Background in inpatient rehab outpatient settings or intervention therapies.
Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
