Job Description
Our client is a group of companies in Nigeria. Due to expansion they need a PROJECT & ASSET MANAGER.
LOCATION: Lagos
Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project and Asset Manager to lead the successful planning execution and maintenance of technical projects while also managing the performance and life cycle of company and client assets. This role combines strong project management capabilities with a strategic focus on asset sustainability and efficiency.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the planning and implementation of all infrastructure-related projects
- Define project scopes objectives timelines and deliverables
- Coordinate internal teams vendors and subcontractors
- Monitor and report on project progress risks and outcomes
- Ensure projects are completed on time within budget and to required quality standards
- Conduct site assessments and provide technical input during project development
- Maintain a comprehensive asset registry including lifecycle tracking and documentation
- Ensure the proper operation servicing and maintenance of deployed systems and equipment
- Schedule and supervise periodic maintenance activities
- Analyze asset performance data to drive efficiency improvements
- Coordinate warranty claims and vendor support when needed
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering Project Management or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in project and asset management
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage
- Proficiency with project tracking tools (e.g. MS Project Trello Excel)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Technical problem-solving and decision-making skills
