Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Receive and offload goods delivered in containers ensuring all items match the shipping and packing lists.
- Conduct thorough inspections to confirm the quantity and condition of goods received.
- Properly document all incoming shipments using MMR (Material Movement Register) and other relevant tools.
- Organize and store goods systematically within the warehouse for easy access and space efficiency.
- Supervise loading and dispatch of goods to other company branches based on approved requests.
- Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular physical inventory checks.
- Ensure all inventory movement is recorded promptly and correctly.
- Liaise with logistics procurement and branch managers to coordinate deliveries and restocking.
- Oversee warehouse staff to ensure compliance with safety security and operational procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies damages or losses immediately.
- Keep the warehouse clean organized and secure at all times.
Requirements
- 3 5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations preferably in electronics FMCG or similar industries.
- Preferably Male
- Proven experience handling container offloading and warehouse stock reconciliation.
- Proficiency in inventory tools including MMR stock cards and Excel-based stock systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good leadership and team management abilities.
- Must reside on the Lagos Mainland for proximity to warehouse operations.
- Basic technical knowledge of electronic appliances is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight delivery schedules.
