Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Housekeeping/Housemaid to join a welcoming household in Mumbai India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean organized and comfortable living environment for our family while demonstrating professionalism attention to detail and a collaborative spirit.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting vacuuming mopping and sanitizing all areas of the home
- Manage laundry duties including washing drying ironing and organizing clothes and linens
- Maintain a tidy and organized living space by decluttering and arranging items as needed
- Assist with basic home maintenance tasks and report any issues or repairs required
- Ensure the kitchen and bathrooms are kept in pristine condition
- Run errands and perform grocery shopping as requested
- Prepare simple meals or assist with meal preparation when required
- Collaborate with family members to understand and meet their specific needs and preferences
- Adhere to safety and hygiene standards while performing all duties
- Adapt to changing schedules and family needs with flexibility and a positive attitude
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role demonstrating strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in various cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning products
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy and well-structured living environment
- Ability to operate household appliances and perform basic home maintenance tasks
- Excellent laundry and ironing skills
- Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food safety practices (preferred)
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day
- Trustworthy reliable and discreet in handling household matters
- Effective communication skills in English and/or local languages
- Familiarity with local customs and practices in Mumbai India
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and family needs
- Valid work permit or authorization to work in Mumbai India
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Positive attitude empathy and willingness to learn
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing excellent service
