We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Test Team Leader to oversee our testing team in delivering high-quality software products. You will be responsible for leading test planning execution and reporting activities ensuring the delivery of reliable software that meets customer and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software test engineers in manual and automated testing.
- Develop and maintain test strategies plans and cases based on product requirements and design specifications.
- Oversee the execution of functional regression performance integration and system tests.
- Coordinate closely with development product management and DevOps teams to align testing efforts with release goals.
- Ensure defects are identified tracked and resolved efficiently; manage defect triage meetings.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and coverage.
- Provide leadership in test automation strategy and ensure the team is aligned with best practices.
- Prepare and present test progress reports metrics and quality KPIs to stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews design discussions and project planning activities.
- Recruit train and evaluate testing team members to build a high-performing team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in software testing including 2 years in a team lead or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium JUnit TestNG Postman QF test Girkin Typescript etc.).
- Proficiency with defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving leadership and communication skills.
Desirable Knowledge:
- Understanding and best practice use of testing engineering principles and familiarity with test development standards.
- Familiarity with principles and methodologies of diagnostic content unit and integration testing techniques.
- An interest in Automotive technologies.
